What is your definition of beautiful?
For me, I feel beautiful when I’m relaxed, I’m happy, I’ve spent a bit
of time on my own. Time with my son and my partner. I guess it really is just a feeling of contentment.
Who is one timeless beauty you are obsessed with?
Sophia Loren! Audrey Hepburn is another, but I think sex-bomb beauty is Sophia Loren.
You’ve spoken out about plastic surgery on Instagram. Did you receive any feedback or backlash?
It was all positive. The reason why I did what I did was there was a bit of cyberbullying happening online.
I’m 41, about to be 42 years old, I can handle it – I’m in the media so I know it could be out there, but I think about these teenage girls who just be getting it all the time.
We have to send the message out there that women should not be bullying other women. We need to start being kinder to each other. If people choose ways to make themselves happier, we should be building them up.
How does your partner make you feel beautiful?
He just makes me feel like I am the best thing that’s walked on this earth. He has that lovely ability to make you feel really special and loved and tells you all the time.
What do you like to do to make yourself feel beautiful?
Some people like to go shopping or go to cafes, what I need to do to make me happy is – even if its 20 minutes or half an hour – is exercise. It’s like my form of meditation.
