In a shock turn for fans of the 2025 reboot, fan-favourite housemate Abiola Oreyomi has left the Big Brother house.
But insiders say she did it on her own terms.
According to a report out of the Daily Mail, Abiola accepted a “walkout offer” from Big Brother as part of a Christmas Challenge where those contestants who weren’t up for nomination were given the option to leave the show with a payout.
Abiola reportedly walked away with $15,000 of the $100,000 grand prize pool.

Producers have remained tight-lipped. But a spokesperson gave a cryptic statement to the Daily Mail. “Looks like Big Brother‘s two favourite housemates (Washing Machine and Dryer) got some extra love on the livestream this week,” they said.
“Fans are whipping into a frenzy about what secret action could have taken place in the house.
“To add to the excitement, word is out that someone has chosen to leave, sparking wild speculation — was it a spin cycle spin out, a secret pact, or something else entirely?
“Doesn’t everyone know that in Big Brother‘s house, the first rule is to expect the unexpected?”

Rumours began swirling this week after eagle-eyed fans noticed her bed had been removed from the 24/7 livestream, and that her luggage was missing.
When asked about the empty bed, one housemate muttered, “Because Abs is gone,” before the live feed was abruptly muted.
For many fans, Abiola’s exit isn’t a defeat, but rather, a power move. As one fan put it, “she took the cash, showed up on her own terms, and walked. That’s the energy.”
With Abiola gone, the dynamics of the house will certainly shift. From day one on Big Brother Australia, Abiola stood out, positioning herself as a bold, opinionated presence in the house.
