Jennifer Lawrence is no stranger to having her love life in the public eye. But the actress, who is now dating Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky, is more relaxed in her new relationship than she has been in the past, a source tells WHO.

The Hunger Games star was most recently linked to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. (The two began dating five months after Martin split from wife Gwyneth Paltrow, and dated on and off for a year before parting ways.)

“She struggled when she dated Chris [Martin] and seemed very stressed out,” a source tells WHO of the spotlight that comes with dating the singer. “With Darren, it will probably be different. He does not attract attention like Chris does.”

The source adds that like Lawrence, the director “is very low-key.”

“He does not seem like a person who enjoys being a celebrity. Jennifer is the same,” says the source.

Lawrence, 26 and Aronofsky, 47, worked together on an untitled film over the summer. (The film, which Aronofsky wrote and directed, also stars Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer and Javier Bardem.)

The Oscar winner was first spotted dining with the Brooklyn native in New York City in August, and then the two stepped out again for an intimate dinner with her close friends at the Commissary restaurant at The Line Hotel in L.A. on Oct. 21.

“They’ve been hanging out and are casually dating,” says the Lawrence pal.

The director was previously in a nine-year relationship with actress Rachel Weisz (the two have a son, 10-year-old Henry), before they broke up in 2010, and Weisz moved on to marry her Dream House costar Daniel Craig.

Lawrence is the first to admit she doesn’t have a type when it comes to men, and that’s just how she likes it. “Patterns are the work of the devil,” she told Harper’s Bazaar earlier this year. “If I think about all of my ex-boyfriends, they are all so uncomparable.”
