After months of envy-inducing outings together, Hollywood superstar Zac Efron and Bryon Bay-based café worker Vanessa Valladares are officially over!

According to The Daily Telegraph, the couple have gone their separate ways less than a year after they were first spotted together in July 2020.
While the publication is scarce on details, it is reporting that Zac is officially back on the market – and Sign. Us. Up.
Following the reports, Kyle Sandilands confirmed the split on KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O show, revealing the article “wasn’t just a rumour”, adding, “I can also confirm after speaking with him yesterday.”
The shock jock added the break up was “recent” but not “yesterday recent” and clarified there was “no drama” behind it all.
For the past year, the High School Musical star has made Australia his home as he avoids the pandemic in the USA which has much harsher restrictions and has been filming an array of projects.
While Down Under, Zac met Vanessa at a Byron Bay café when she was reportedly introduced to the 32-year-old star by her boss.
And after hitting things off, the 25-year-old left her job as a waitress and was living with the actor at Belongil Beach.
It’s not the first time speculation swirled about a break-up, with rumours heating up they’d called it quits in November when Zac flew down to Adelaide to film Stan series Gold.
The distance was rumoured to have put a strain on the relationship, with many questioning whether the couple were over.
Last year, Zac cancelled a flight back to LA after his visa was officially extended from three months to 12.
“He was only planning to fly home if he had to,” a source told Daily Mail at the time.
“He didn’t really want to go back to America.”
The Greatest Showman star recently touched on his desire to leave Los Angeles in an episode of his new Netflix docuseries, Down to Earth with Zac Efron.
“[I] gotta get out of Hollywood,” Zac shared, revealing the lifestyle is “not conducive” to a “long, happy, mentally sound life”.
