"When I saw this guy came in last night, I thought, here we go..." James began, explaining that he thinks they initially roped Angie into doing the show by telling her she would have to "date a bunch of losers", before they bringing in a guy she knows from the outside.
Kyle agreed, suggesting it is exactly what happened in Sophie Monk's season.
"Sophie is like 50 [she's not] and had all these 18-year-olds... and then they brought in Stu."
Jackie, who is a friend of Sophie's, reinforced this. "Because they knew she didn't like anyone... and that's why Stu got roped in. The exact same thing has happened."
Angie already knew Ryan as he had slid into her DMs before she was announced as the Bachelorette.
Some fans seem to believe that Ryan is the one who ends up winning Angie's heart due to an editing fail (and spoiler) that was revealed in the first week.
Ryan's entrance into the show was supposed to be a secret, but The Daily Mail reported last week that Ryan's arrival was accidentally revealed.
The Bachelorette’s verified Instagram account followed the rescue dog advocate last Sunday, despite the fact that his arrival was yet to be announced.
When the major clue was noticed, The Bachelorette account unfollowed Ryan almost instantly.
In previous seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette, intruders aren't revealed until the moment they arrive in the mansion.
Did this mistake mean that Ryan makes it all the way? It certainly means he makes an impact.
So is the hunky dog lover that may or may not be standing there at the end of the season?
Ryan, 32, has more than 35, 000 followers on social media with his account @Aussiedogguy, which is already a plus for Angie who is a self-proclaimed dog lover.
Ryan serves an ambassador for an assistance-dog charity decided to invited Angie to be his date to an upcoming gala ball before she entered the show... but she was shortly after announced as The Bachelorette.
"I'd hate to sit back and see the series unfold without me in it and go, 'That could have been me'."
Ryan's very unexpected entrance (and highly unwelcome) entrance during the group date this week cause a lot of drama for the other contestants, but he insists he's there to win Angie's heart.
"It was very full-on!" he told 10 Daily. "I think they didn't trust me because of Angie's brother going undercover earlier on, as in they thought there was something more to me. So when I said 'It's just dog stuff', they didn't really believe me and had a bit of trepidation towards me."
