George Michael’s partner Fadi Fawaz posts an emotional message after the 53 year old passed away

While the world mourns George Michael’s death, his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has taken to Twitter to break his silence by detailing the heartbreaking moment he discovered Michael had died.

“It’s a xmas I will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx (sic),” Fawaz tweeted.

Fawaz has also changed his Twitter bio to “I will never stop missing you xxx.”

Despite being together for four years, Fawaz and Michael’s relationship had always been kept private.

The two visited Fawaz’s native Australia together in 2012.

Michael’s  ex-boyfriend Kenny Goss also shared a special messageto his ex-partner, tweeting: “He was a major part of my life and I loved him very, very much”.

Fawaz shared some sweet snaps with Michael and friends in the past.

Michael Lippman told The Hollywood Reporter that Michael died in his London home on Christmas Day.

The sad news was initially confirmed by his publicist.

Michael, who began his career with the iconic pop band Wham! in the 1980s and later went as a solo performer has “passed away peacefully at home”.

According to BBC News “Thames Valley Police said South Central Ambulance Service attended a property in Goring in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT.”

Police stated that they were treating the death as unexplained, however there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the pop star’s sudden death.

The star’s publicist statement read: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.

“The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.”
