If you’re looking for a new TV show to watch and you loved The Office, you’re in luck: The Paper is here!
What’s The Paper? A follow-up/spinoff series to the US version of The Office; read on for all the details…
Is The Paper a spinoff of The Office?
Yes! As aforementioned, The Paper is a spinoff of The Office (US).
And before you roll your eyes and say you’re sick of spinoffs (like we’re sick of unnecessary sequels), remember that Parks and Rec started as a spinoff of The Office and ultimately became its own great, Emmy Award-nominated show.
What will the show The Paper be about?
Well, the official synopsis reads:
“The Paper follows the documentary crew that immortalised Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series The Office as they find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.”
It has been confirmed The Paper will be in the same mockumentary style as The Office.
However, despite being a spinoff, the only character/actor from The Office set to appear in this new series is Oscar Martinez, played by Oscar Núñez.

Where can I watch The Paper TV show?
The first four episodes of The Paper premiered on Binge on September 4, 2025.
