On Monday, WHO reported that Cooper and Shayk were desperately trying to iron out the creases in their relationship for the sake of their two-year-old daughter Lea De Seine.
“Because of their daughter, they keep trying,” a source close to the couple of five years told Page Six, adding, “Things are not good. Neither one is happy. The relationship is hanging by a thread.”
To make matters even worse, the couple was recently spotted out to dinner where an onlooker claimed the "barely spoke to each other" and looked "very unhappy"
The devastating news comes just months after they fans went into a frenzy over Cooper and Gaga's insane chemistry during their highly emotional performance of "Shallow" at the Oscars in February.

Although many were convinced from that performance the co-stars were more than friends, Gaga has maintained that their relationship is platonic, admitting that she and Cooper were in character— with Gaga as Ally and Cooper as Jack— when they delivered their smash hit.
"Yes, people saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see...When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel," she said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live shortly after the Oscars.
Following the movie's premiere, Gaga's rep announced in February that she'd split from her fiance Christian Carino, two years after confirming they were an item.
