In sad news, Jimmy Rees has confirmed that he’s withdrawn from Dancing With The Stars Australia.
His decision to quit the dancing show was confirmed by Channel Ten on Monday morning.
“Jimmy Rees has made the difficult decision to leave Dancing With The Stars. His seven-week-old son, Mack, recently suffered complications during a routine procedure and is in hospital in a stable condition,” A Network 10 spokesperson said.
“Understandably, Jimmy has left the competition to be by his son, and wife Tori’s side, during this difficult time.”
Just weeks before the show premiered, the children’s entertainer announced he and wife Tori have welcomed twin boys to their family.
The adorable bubs – named Mack and Vinny — weighed in at 2.46 kg and 2.33 kg respectively, with Jimmy confirming everyone is “doing amazing.”
