Kanye and Kim Kardashian West have welcomed their third child and second daughter via surrogate.
Taking to her website, Kardashian West confirmed the arrival of her new bundle of joy who was born Monday, Jan. 15, at 12:47 a.m., weighing just over 3 kgs.
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” the 37-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wrote in a post titled “She’s Here!”
“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”
The newest Kardashian takes the family of four to one of five as she joins older sister North, 4, and brother Saint, 2.
“North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister,” added the excited mum of three.
Kardashian West has not yet revealed the name of her new addition, nor any photos.
In September last year, a source close to the Kanye, 40, and Kim confirmed that the happy couple was searching for a surrogate for months before they "found the perfect candidate."
Of course, the couple chose to have her third baby via surrogate due to Kardashian West’s battle with placenta accreta in both her previous pregnancies.
“Given her health scares in the past, Kim felt the need to hire a surrogacy agency that helped serve as the liaison in finding a healthy woman who would be a great surrogate option for her and Kanye,” the source added. “Both of them have been super involved in the process.”
Once again, Congratulations to the family!
