Fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
One wrote: "I literally paid almost $100 to see Tyga for 15 mins last night, so sad man at least song more than 4 songs."
"$80 to listen to DJs play the same damn songs for more than four hours and have him only play for like 15 minutes? I want a damn refund," one woman said.
"The poster only said Tyga, it didn't mention a DJ playing for five hours before hand, otherwise no one would have showed up until 10pm," another said.
"They made out like it was all going to be Tyga and to only get 15 mins of him, for that price, is f***ed."
"I'd like to apologise to everyone who came to the show and say that it’s out of our control,' the sub-promoter for the event told Daily Mail Australia.
"Last night’s show is not a representation of how I run by business, and I am appalled this has happened to his hardworking fans."
Tyga's next Aussie gig is at Sydney's Hordern Pavillion on Thursday, October 24 and Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena the following day.
