There aren’t too many labels I identify with; however, when “Pilates Princess” was coined back in 2023, I adopted it shamelessly.
I’ll admit, I’ve been low-key obsessive over reformer Pilates for years, hauling myself to class multiple times a week. I’ve also spent more than enough money on Pilates clothes to wear to class.
However, with this comes the knowledge that not all activewear is cut out to handle a reverse knee tuck plank combo (if you know, you know).
Just as HIIT classes often call for activewear that offers maximum support, Pilates clothes are slightly different: light, breathable pieces that won’t get in the way. Oh, and a good set of grip socks so you don’t accidentally launch yourself across the studio.
