TRAVEL is one of the great joys of life however most avid travellers would agree, packing for an adventure can be a chore.
Most of us overpack or underpack – especially if you’ve waited until the last minute – and are often left with a hefty fee for excess baggage or arrive at a destination to discover you have six pairs of sandals but no small essentials like hair ties.
The good news is, budget retailers like Kmart and Big W have added to their travel ranges and their packing cubes are earning rave reviews from travellers – and they won’t break the bank.

Kmart’s $9 packing cubes are flying off the shelves and Big W have expanded their travel range to include accessories like a three-pack of Globite packing cubes for $25 – cheaper than other retailers and purchasing direct from the brand – which are lightweight and soft so they won’t damage your clothes.
The multi-sized trip-savers allow travellers to organise their belongings into cubes so they know where everything is as soon as they unzip the suitcase, and can placed straight into hotel drawers at your accommodation and then back into suitcases on departure.
We also use the cells for storing gadgets and a spare change of clothes in our hand luggage, which makes for a more organised, stress-free trip and allows more time for kicking back with that cocktail by the pool, or immersing yourself in a new culture.
