Top Spots for Camping on the Gold Coast

Whether you prefer bush or beach camping, the Gold Coast has it all

Paradise Country Farmstay

Part of Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Paradise Country is a haven for families. Onsite tents and caravans make this camping trip a breeze as you don’t even need to bring a tent. Kids get to collect the eggs in the morning and help feed the animals at night. Want more to do? Get a photo with a snake, cuddle a koala or pan for gold. It’s like going back in time but with all mod cons.

South Stradbroke Island

If you’re after the kind of camping trip where you can fish off the beach but still enjoy the comforts of a licensed cafe then Tipplers Resort on Stradbroke Island is for you. A short drive from the mainland, the facilities are always spotless and if you stay on the sheltered side of the beach you won’t have to worry about your kids getting tumbled in the waves.
