Mount Warning Base Camp
Want to be the first to see the sunrise in Australia? Then Head to Mount Warning Base Camp and pitch your tent in the wilderness area. Most areas are pooch-free but dogs are allowed in the main park. Each site has its own fireplace and you can camp along the river or set up home with the rainforest as your back yard. Ensuite cabins are available in case it rains.

Set on 160 acres you’ll have no trouble getting your steps up at Yarramalong. Hot showers and private fireplaces for each camp spot make this the perfect place to toast marshmallows after a dip in the creek. Flanagan Reserve
With 12 hectares to explore you’ll be glad of the early wake-up call at Flanagan Reserve, as the flocks of rosellas wake you with their song. After a dip in the Logan River, you’ll enjoy this quiet campsite with nothing but the hum of nature to lull you into blissful relaxation. However, you won’t miss your creature comforts as the kiosk is open all day and there are coin-operated hot showers.
