Located on the museum’s expansive grounds and overlooking the Derwent River, the Mona Pavilions, described by Mona as ‘super flash luxury dens’, offer high-class and unique lodgings for those looking for something different.

Each of the eight Pavilions is unique and named for a famous Australian artist or architect. Each also features artwork from the Mona collections, and come furnished with all of the latest technology, bespoke designer furniture, and fine linens. The helpful Mona staff can arrange for as much or as little as you’d like to do and if you stay on a Tuesday you can also get a free, guided tour of the museum and its truly unique and sometimes bizarre collection of artworks.

In your Pavillon pantry is a range of the Mona-produced Moorilla wines and Moo Brew beers. Breakfast in the on-site restaurant The Source is complimentary – The Source restaurant itself offers fantastic high-end cuisine that combines technique, excellent seasonal local produce and a world class wine list. A romantic dinner here is a must.
