From the minute you step off bustling North Terrace opposite the iconic Botanic Gardens and into Golden Boy it’s obvious you’re in for a real treat.
The restaurant is configured so that booths and tables gather around the bar, a focal point, and while the wine and cocktail menu is strong, it’s the food that’s hero. We ordered the fish cakes, tamarind prawns, pad thai and chargrilled pumpkin wedges to share but we also saw lots of groups ordering the famous Tuk Tuk option that allows the chef to prepare a specially designed menu for you.

Flavours are fresh and bold and we couldn’t pick our favourite dish. Delicious and highly recommended.
