Café Terroni

Café Terroni provides Southern style Italian which, if you’re going to carb load, here’s where to do it. Start with crumbed polenta chips, follow with the house-made gnocchi and if you’ve got room try the Tiramisu or Crespelle di Banan con Gelato. De-lish

Sun Theatre

Much more than your average cinema, the Sun Theatre in Yarraville shows all the latest movies as well Sun Classics. An Affair to Remember, Halloween (the original), and Voyage of the Southern Sun are just a few of the 70mm sessions you’ll catch this month. Tickets are half price on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Cornershop

Cornershop like to source their produce from local growers and farmers – not just their eggs, but the meat and even the sweet treats. As a result, each morsel tastes like it was made with love, heck, even the coffee is roasted locally. Perched right next to the Sun Theatre on Ballarat Street, if you’re in Yarraville, be sure to stop in for breakfast or lunch. The zucchini and mint fritters with cumin yoghurt are heavenly.
