In a series of photos, Lewis paid tribute to his dog who was his companion for the past 17 years.
"This weekend I had to say goodbye to my best bud in the whole world who I was lucky enough to spend the last 17 Years with," he started.
"Every day before & after school, before & after gigs, chillin through the best times & always made the worst ones bearable just by being there.. and always keen for a mad swim any day of the week!
He was the best friend I ever had."
"I’m sure anyone who’s ever had a dog can say the same. His companionship said & taught me more than any words ever could. Some can say it’s just a dog but dead set hands down made all of our lives better.
"We were lucky enough to be there watching him open his eyes for the first time when he was born in our laundry, and as sad as it was, we felt so lucky to all be there together to say our final goodbye.
Love you mate, see ya again one day" the 30-year-old actor shared.
Sending love to Lincoln and his family during this tough time.
