This isn't the first time Locky has seemingly taken a swipe at his former Bachelor flames, including his runner-up Bella Varelis.
After they revealed their relationship to the world following the show's finale, Locky and Irena went on a hiking date at Belmore Falls in NSW's Southern Highlands.
The former Bachelor shared a clip of the couple kissing in front of a waterfall, but the caption alluded to Bella's claim on the show that Irena lied to him about enjoying hiking, so that she would be invited on a single date.
“She does hike! I'm seeing it with my own eyes!” Locky joked.
On another occasion after the couple went on a camping trip and shared a photo on Instagram, one fan jokingly commented on Locky's photo: “Oh no thanks for the invite! Looks fun.”
However the adventure travel guide took the time to reply to the comment, remarking: “Have to have some secrets. We not to keen on the whole Bondi vibe. Give us the mountains any day 😂”
Since Bella and fellow contestant Bec Cvilikas are Bondi locals, fans took the comment to be a direct dig at his exes.
Since moving to Perth, Irena has admitted that whilst she loves her new home on the west coast, she's missing her family back in Melbourne, especially after her father was hospitalised for a period of time.
"I am definitely homesick and with everything that has happened with my dad I really miss home too but I am absolutely loving my new life in Perth," Irena replied to a fan in an Instagram Q&A.
"Like everyone I have my good days and then days when I have my cry to Locky about how much I miss home. Moving for love was an easy decision and I am very happy in Perth with Locky."
