Married At First Sight’s Ines reveals her mother has been trolled after finale

Ines Basic has revealed that during the airing of the season of Married at First Sight that she has purposely avoided being public to avoid trolls for her mother’s wellbeing.

She told Daily Mail Australia that before the show she wasn’t that big on social media and would only post here and there but since she posted MAFs content she was overwhelmed with online abuse.

Ines said she has been receiving a lot of the hate since her ‘affair’ with her co-star Sam Ball, which conjured death threats and an even online Facebook event to attack her in the street.

The MAFs star admits she has been really affected by the ‘nasty’ comments and ‘feels sad’ that her mother is exposed to it.

“I think something needs to be done about online bullying, it’s really sad. I don’t read comments but sometimes I stumble upon something,” she said. 

“It’s really mean. I just would never comment on someone’s life story and I definitely wouldn’t leave ugly comments on their page.”

“Some of it is so nasty I feel sad that my mum has to see it.”

She continued to say how she feels like the whole nation has already judged her and knows about her due because of appearance on MAFS.

She joked, “Pretty sure my a**hole is now online for all of Australia, I may as well walk around naked now,” before continuing to say that she’s also often marked on the street as, “looking homeless smoking 10 cigarettes”. 

The brunette has been reportedly laying low since the backlash. She has also been working on her fitness and health to get her life back on track.    

She revealed she’s boycotting the explosive reunion finale saying it’s ‘unhealthy’ to watch it back and insisted she’s ‘moved on’ from the show and her former co-stars.
