After Miley Cyrus was spotted in Cape Town, South Africa, rumours swirled that the pop sensation was teaming up with Netflix to star in season five of the hit series, Black Mirror.
As articles flooded in, Miley's sister Brandi Cyrus finally addressed the topic. Speaking on her podcast, Your Favorite Thing Podcast with Wells & Brandi, Brandi said that her sister is, in fact, making an appearance on the show!
Since then, Miley— who is working on her next album which is said to be released next year—has admitted that returning to acting on Black Mirror has been a positive experience.
"I hate everything, but it was the first time I've left somewhere feeling really proud of my work," she said.
Worried she'd give too much away, Cyrus teased that her character has "a lot of different sides" to her.
"There's a lot of dimension to it, and actually it was while the devastation of Malibu was happening, and it was a really weird learning experience for me because I was so far from home and the show is already really dark, and it's already kind of eerie when you're there the whole time," she said. "But I learned a lot about myself, and I think I was able to use that and put that into it."
