It’s the moment all of Hollywood has been waiting for: the announcement of the nominations for the 91st Academy Awards. Black Panther
It’s been almost a year since this Marvel superhero adventure was released in cinemas, and it is now available on DVD and Blu-ray, and to watch on Stan.
BlacKkKlansman
Also out on DVD and Blu-ray is this film, which is based on the true story of an African-American detective who infiltrated racist hate group the Ku Klux Klan.
Bohemian Rhapsody
Released back at the start of November, the Queen biopic is still showing in select cinemas. Otherwise, the DVD and Blu-ray is released on Wed., Feb. 13.
The Favourite
Starring Best Actress nominee Olivia Colman, and Best Supporting Actress nominees Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz, this period comedy about Queen Anne is still showing at cinemas. Watch the trailer above.
Green Book
Viggo Mortensen (Best Actor) and Mahershala Ali (Best Supporting Actor) are both nominated for this film about the unlikely friendship between an African-American pianist and his driver/bodyguard. It is released in Australian cinemas on Thur., Jan 24. Watch the trailer above.
Roma
Given a limited cinema release, this Alfonso Cuarón-directed film about a Mexican housekeeper (played by Best Actress nominee Yalitza Aparicio) is available to watch on Netflix.
A Star Is Born
Up for eight awards in total, this remake of the musical drama starring nominees Bradley Cooper (Best Actor) and Lady Gaga (Best Actress) is still showing in select cinemas. The DVD and Blu-ray is released on Wed., Feb. 6.
Vice
The biopic about former US vice president Dick Cheney starring nominees Christian Bale (Best Actor) and Amy Adams (Best Supporting Actress) was released on Boxing Day and is still showing in cinemas. Watch the trailer above.
