Ariana Grande is speaking out about her crushing break up with Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson.
The singer commented on the unexpected split from her fiancé, admitting it is “very sad”.
She went on to inform her fans that in light of her current personal life, she needs to take a break from social media.
“Time to say bye bye again to the internet for jus a lil bit,” the 25-year-old wrote in a since-deleted post shared on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, October 16.
“It’s hard not to bump news n stuff that i’m not tryna see rn. it’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep goin. love u. and thank u for bein here always.”

It had been a big day for Grande, who had taped a performance of “The Wizard and I” for the upcoming NBC special A Very Wicked Halloween.
The singer’s make up artist Mario Dedivanovic shared a snippet, which showed fans that Grande is no longer wearing her diamond engagement ring.
Grande then told fans that she nearly skipped the gig.
“Today was v special and i’m so grateful i was able to be there,” she explained on her Instagram Story, adding “almost let my anxiety ruin this for me.”

Earlier this week Grande and Davidson called off their four-month engagement.
One pal explained, “They realized it happened too quick and too early. The wedding is off, but they’re working things out. They’re not officially done yet.”
