They are perhaps two of the biggest stars on the planet, but even Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio get star-struck apparently!
The A-list duo – who star together in upcoming Quentin Tarantino flick One Upon A Time In Hollywood – recently spoke to Esquire about what it was like to meet the late Luke Perry on the set of the movie.
“I remember my friend Vinny, who is in the film as well, we walked in and we both had this butterfly moment of like, ‘Oh my God, that’s Luke Perry over there!'” Leonardo recalls.
Perry tragically died of a stroke in March this year at the age of 52
Brad confessed he was equally just as excited. “‘That’s f***ing Luke Perry!’ We were like kids in the candy shop because I remember going to the studios and [Beverly Hills, 90210] was going on, and he was that icon of coolness for us as teenagers,” the Benjamin Button actor revealed.
“It was this strange burst of excitement that I had, to be able to act with him,” he continued. “Man, he was so incredibly humble and amazing and absolutely committed. He couldn’t have been a more friendly, wonderful guy to spend time with. I got to sit down and have some wonderful conversations with him. It was really special.”
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood premiered at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday, with both Brad and Leo in attendance, alongside co-star Margot Robbie.
