Yesterday, Brendan and Alex Fevola welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl.
And the football star called into his radio show Fifi, Fev and Byron to share that they named her Brenda…
Much to the shock of his co-hosts and the rest of the nation.
Now Fev would like everyone to know it was a stitch up!
Calling in for the second time, the proud dad spoke about what it was like having a newborn in the house.
“How good is sleep! She was asleep all day and then woke up 12pm. She’s so beautiful and feeding well.”
Fifi said, “She looks so much like you Fev.”
Peter Helliar chimed in”There’s a theory that the baby looks like the father for the first 2 years. According to evolution.”
And then Fifi said what we were all thinking, “There’s been a little bit of debate on Brenda’s name.”
“Well yes we did name it Brenda!”
Helliar said, “I had a great Aunty named Brenda.”
Fev confessed, “Look I didn’t want to tell you this because of the reaction!”
“I’m sorry Fev,” Fifi apologised, adding, “You don’t like your name!”
The former footy star turned his attention to all the well wishes his family received.
“Thank you everyone for the kind messages.”
And then he dropped the bomb: “Hey Fi I got you. Her name is not Brenda!”
Laughing, she replied, “You never got me!”
The new dad revealed: “Her name is Tobi – T-O-B-I! No middle name”
Fifi gushed, “I love it Fev!”
