Bride & Prejudice’s Seyat and Jess are a young engaged couple who plan to marry as soon as they can, but one thing stands in their way; approval from Seyat’s mother.
Despite wanting to wed in just three weeks from telling his parents of the engagement, Seyat’s mum Fatima thinks they are way too young.
But age isn’t her only problem with the couple. She isn’t a fan of Jess, 21.
“I want my son to be with a home girl, to cook, clean after him. I don’t like party girls,” she says.
“Jess is very dirty, she smells like cats.”
It is obvious that Fatima’s criticism is taking its toll on Jess, who breaks down crying in front of Seyat for not defending her against his mum.
Fatima is so against their relationship that she even offers Jess $10,000 cash to leave her son.
