Confirmed! Carrie Coon, who currently stars as Proxima Midnight in Avengers: Infinity War, will take on the lead role in The Sinner Season 2 when it returns in August.
Coon will play Vera “a formidable, mysterious woman who struggles between upholding the ideals of the community she leads and fulfilling her own desires.”
It was confirmed earlier this year that season two of the psychological thriller will consist of 8 episodes with Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) investigating the murder of two parents by their 11-year-old son.
Jessica Biel will executive producer season 2, but there has been no word on whether she will reprise her role from season 1 in anyway.
The Sinner Season 2 will air on August 1 2018.
