The now radio star was runner-up on season three of the hit show back in 2003, admitted on her Nova breakfast show that she would love to host Big Brother Australia when it returns for another season next year.
“That would be my dream job,” the media star said. “Truly, I would love it. I’ve always said I would do that.”
However, Chrissie will have stiff competition for the coveted gig, as fans have been extremely vocal about their desire to see Gretel Killeen return as host.
“You’ve got to have Gretel. She is the mother of Big Brother.” former winner Reggie Sorensen told news.com.au last week.
Chrissie’s declaration follows news that casting is officially open for the Big Brother reboot.
Endemol Shine, the production company behind the reboot, has launched a call out for contestants, with hopefuls asked to apply with details on why they would make a great contestant.
