Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus have been caught up in a bubble of love over the past few weeks, however his recent trip to Australia has come with tension for the love-birds.

Simpson, 22, was overheard on the phone this morning complaining about Miley, while at Boy Charlton Pool in Sydney.
“We had a weird one yesterday… not really an argument but she kind of shut down,” he said during the tense phone call.
“Yeah, it was kind of s**tty, but whatever,” he added.
Cody went on to discuss how the country has turned on him as their loyalties lie with Liam Hemsworth, Miley’s ex-husband.
“I’m copping s**t here because of [her] exes. You know, her husband is Australian,” Cody continued.
While Cody is also Australian, the the public has definitely taken Liam’s side in the divorce, especially after Miley’s post-divorce behaviour.
Cody’s disagreements with Miley come after he was forced to defend the 26-year-old “Slide Away” singer in Australia after she made controversial LGBTQ comments on an Instagram Live.
“I always thought I had to be gay because I just thought, like, all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have d*cks. I’ve only ever met one…and he’s on this Live,” she told her 100 million followers, referring to Cody Simpson.
As expected, her “insensitive” comments offended the LGBTQ community.
“Miley, this is so not it. Women don’t ‘have to be gay’ because they ‘can’t find a good person with a d*ck’. Don’t use the queer community as a stop-gap because you couldn’t find a boyfriend. People aren’t queer because they ‘gave up’ on men. This is so insulting,” one person tweeted.
Another wrote: “Miley saying ‘you don’t have to be gay’ is so cringe as if people choose to be gay just because they can’t find someone of the opposite sex that isn’t a dick. That’s not how this works Miss Cyrus.”
During Cody’s appearance on The Project following his win on The Masked Singer, he justified her comments.
“Yeah she…. people took that the wrong way I think. Absolutely you don’t choose who you fall for or who you love, whatever gender or who you are.”
As for Liam, he has been unbothered by Miley’s actions, claiming that it’s exactly what he expected from her.
A source close to Liam, 29, told E! News that he’s “stopped seeking out updates on her and what she’s gotten up to. He doesn’t want to hear about it and usually doesn’t.”
“Nothing is really a surprise at this point,” the insider continued. “He’s leaving it all in the past and is in a different place now. He is busy on set and working. That’s his focus now and what he is going to keep doing.”
Good for him.
On the other end of the spectrum a different source suggested that Miley’s actions are an attempt to capture Liam’s attention.
“She was drunk dialling him for a while, so now she’s resorted to social media to get his attention,” the source claimed.
