True crime podcast Dirty John is being turned into a TV show, and actress Connie Britton has just joined the cast.
Britton will play Debra Newell, a single mum who falls for “Dirty John” aka con-artist John Meehan after they meet on a dating site.
The Dirty John podcast was based on articles from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard.
Dirty John will air for at least two seasons on Bravo, however the second season will have an entirely new cast and storyline.
