According to TMZ, the voice of Disney’s Lilo from Lilo & Stitch, Daveigh Chase has been arrested following a joyride in a car that was reported stolen.
The 27-year-old was a passenger in a BMW which was stopped by Police on the morning of November 28 in Hollywood.
Law enforcement sources told the news site that despite the fact that Daveigh wasn’t driving she was booked for driving in a car without owner’s consent – which is a felony under American law. The driver was also arrested. At this stage it is unclear who has stolen the vehicle, however, authorities are currently investigating the case.
Daveigh – who also played the little girl in The Ring – is currently in jail on $25,000 bail.
