“Let’s just say I don’t ask questions I don’t know the answer to!” he tells WHO.
Indeed, she did accept his proposal.
The former reality TV star reveals how he asked Love’s father’s permission and forgot his speech, and, together with his new fiancée, shares a few wedding details, too.

Congratulations on the engagement! Have you started wedding planning?
LOVE: We have started thinking about what kind of wedding we’d like, but we haven’t booked anything or made any certain plans because at the moment we are still enjoying just living in the newly-engaged bubble.
Was the proposal a stressful process?
ELLIOTT: I was extremely nervous. And when it came to the point of actually asking G the question, I had this beautiful speech prepared, but that went to absolute water!
Did you ask her dad for permission in advance?
ELLIOTT: Yes, I’m old fashioned, so I did ask Georgia’s dad, and thankfully he was thrilled.
It was a pleasure to watch you two fall in love on TV. What advice would you have for anyone else who tries to find their soulmate on a reality show?
LOVE: Just be yourself. It truly is possible to find love on reality TV – just as it is to meet someone in a bar, online or through friends. But as it is in these other ways, you’re only going to meet your person if you’re completely yourself and open to finding love. If you’re truly in it for love, you just might find it.
