Nic Westaway had fans thinking he was headed back to the bay to play Kyle Braxton, with one Instagram post on Thursday night.
The 30-year-old actor gave us all the feels when he landed the role on the bay in 2012, playing the ‘damaged’ Braxton brother Kyle for four years before exiting the show.
Nic captioned the picture, ‘Happy hump day lovely humans! Found this old photo on my iPad 😄To be honest, I’m not sure why I’m wearing a suit on the beach.. but hey.’
Instagram fans jumped on the post within seconds.
‘I thought he was coming back!’ wrote one fan. ‘I thought you were announcing your return!’ wrote another.
‘Wish you would come back!’ one fan posted, ‘The Bay is so boring now!’
Former co star Dan Ewing also cheekily commented, ‘I’d hump that. Again.’
Unfortunately for them (and for us) it seems Nic was just teasing.
