Home And Away star and veteran Aussie actress Cornelia Frances passed away after her brave battle with cancer and now her only child, son Lawrence who supported her throughout her 12-month health struggle – has posted a final photo of his mother in her most fragile state.
“A very personal photo of my mum during one of her resting moments, she is so peaceful, soft and serene. I truly love this woman,” Lawrence captioned his heartfelt tribute.
As previously reported by WHO, Cornelia was surrounded by her loved ones.

In January this year, the Australian TV legend revealed that she had been diagnosed with bladder cancer 12 months earlier.
“I discovered I had bladder cancer. This then spread to my hip bone which fractured, and then I almost died from loss of blood due to an ulcer in my throat,” she told the Daily Telegraph at the time. “Despite all this, I am still here, as the old song goes.”
She later revealed on A Current Affair in March that the cancer had spread to her thigh.
Over her long career in TV, Frances starred in shows including Home and Away, Sons and Daughters, The Young Doctor.
She also presented popular game show The Weakest Link from 2001-2002.
