Channel Nine’s program director, Hamish Turner, confirmed the news on Monday to TV Tonight, explaining that financial issues was the main reason why the Australian drama has been axed.
House Husbands, which starred Gary Sweet, Firass Dirani, Rhys Muldoon and Julia Morris, ran for five seasons.

The announcement comes just months after the network axed Love Child starring Jessica Marais.
