Jasmine Yarbrough has opened up about her whirlwind romance with husband Karl Stefanovic and the details behind their first encounter.

Speaking to Vogue Brides, the shoe designer explained that she first met the former Today show host during a trip home to Australia in late 2017.
Having spent the past seven years in Los Angeles and New York, the now 35-year-old was looking forward to a brief holiday with friends and family – and the last thing on her mind was falling in love.
‘Karl and I had met through friends over the Christmas period when I was back from Los Angeles visiting family in 2016,’ Jasmine explained to the publication.
‘When we first met, I thought he was going to be such a good friend, because we just laughed all the time. He had me in fits of laughter all day!’
‘He’s the funnier one in the relationship, that’s for sure. He’s so quick-witted.’
The couple embarked on a whirlwind romance, with Karl, 44 asking Jasmine to marry him in 2018 during a stay on a private island in Fiji. Just months later on December 8 the pair said ‘I Do’ in a lavish wedding at the exclusive One&Only Palmilla Resort in San José del Cabo, Mexico.
Karl’s three children Jackson, 19, and River, 12, and daughter Ava, 13 from ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn were all in attendance.
