Just over one month after he announced his divorce from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh Jackman is reportedly starting to pen the first pages of his tell-all memoir.
According to Us Weekly, Jackman is in the “early stages” of writing his first biography, with a source close to the actor stating that the content will reveal a number of “big bombshells.”

While Hugh’s newest memoir may be the Wolverine star’s first biography, it is not his first literary work, with the actor receiving his first author credit for his 2008 comic Nowhere Man.
“Hugh’s choosing to [write this book] now because he’s finally [being] honest with himself [and] the divorce, and this book is the first step,” the source told Us Weekly.
“The content will be Hugh speaking about his life. He’ll be opening up about his life like never before. It’s been very healing for him.”

The insider also addressed speculation surrounding the 54-year-old’s divorce from wife Deborra-Lee after 27 years of marriage, telling the publication, “There was no drama or fighting – not that anyone is aware of anyway. Hugh and Deb just reached a point where they were more like best friends.”
“Their lives were so interwoven, so it’s an extremely tricky and gut-wrenching process dividing everything up and figuring out who gets what in terms of assets and finances,” the source continued.

Following over one month of speculation surrounding their marriage, news of Hugh and Deborra-Lee’s divorce first became public in early September 2023, with the couple releasing a statement confirming their split.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey is now shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” read the statement.
Following the announcement, Hugh has been spotted out and about with fellow Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Taylor Swift, with the star-studded squad recently attending the Kansas City Chiefs NFL game in New York.
