Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed her daughter Kitty was rushed to hospital on Thursday, June 28 after she experienced a fall in her school playground which resulted in a concussion and mild memory loss.
While on-air this morning, The Kyle And Jackie O Show announcer detailed what happened with her little girl.
“Kitty got a concussion. Yeah she fell on her head it was really bad,” the 43-year-old told a shocked Kyle.
“And when she stood up she was crying and she just completely lost her memory… She was asking the same questions over and over and over again,” Jackie explained.
“’Where Am I? Is there something wrong with me?’ And then we were rushing her to the children’s hospital and for the whole trip, she was saying exactly the same thing. It’s so frightening when that happens,” the scared mum admitted.
Thankfully, it was only a temporary concussion as Jackie was astonished to notice Kitty was fine once she returned home from the hospital and even “read the whole book verbatim.”
“Lee and I were looking at each other going ‘OMG has this knock on the head opened up a part of her brain’… We have got a genius child I am sure of it!” she laughed.
Thank goodness!
