During an interview on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show earlier this week, the star – who played Rachel in the hit sitcom – said that although a new season of the show is unlikely, “something is in the works.”

In her interview with Ellen, the Murder Mystery star said the cast would love there to be “something” but they aren’t yet sure what that “something” is.

“Listen, we would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is, so we’re just trying, we’re working on something,” the 50-year-old said.

“We can safely say it’s probably not a reboot, a movie though?” Ellen pushed.

“Huge, huge, huge movie. We don’t know,” Jen joked.

“A possibility that it’s a movie,” Ellen continued.

“I don’t know yet!” the actress responded, adding: “I don’t want to lead people on.”

Jennifer recently sent fans wild by making her Instagram debut with a picture of her former cast mates – Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc – during a recent reunion.

“We did that because we miss each other and we all happened to be in the same part of the world,” Jen explained when Ellen asked about the Insta pic.

Ellen asked when the last time was the cast all got together like they did in the photo.
“A couple of minutes ago. A year ago. Eight months ago, I don’t know! I’m just throwing stuff out there!” Jen stumbled.
