Jessica Marais may have been missed at the 2018 TV Week Logies, but fans are about to see a lot more of her as she’s been cast in Channel 9’s new drama, Bad Mothers.
The network has announced the murder drama will run over eight episodes and will air in 2019.
According to the network, “Four very different mother’s lives will collide. Outsiders in a storm of suspicion and danger and when this sisterhood comes together its murder.”
Marais will be joined alongside other respectable Australian stars including Mandy McElhinney, Shalom Brune-Franklin and Jessica Tovey.
Andy Ryan and Jo Rooney, Nine’s Co-Heads of Drama have released an official statement which reads: “When the going gets tough, our Bad Mothers will stick together. Whether they’re juggling the highs and lows of parenthood, careers, love and even murder, Australia’s new best friends lead the way with charm, smarts, and a shameless bad attitude.”
Filming commences in Melbourne this October.
