Her new single ‘Little Things’ is her first musical offering since her Eurovision 2018 hit ‘We Got Love,’ and Jessica Mauboy has revealed that a fall-out with her boyfriend was the catalyst behind the song.

Speaking on Nova 96.9 to Fitzy and Wippa, the former Australian Idol winner spoke about how a fight with long term boyfriend Themeli Magripilis gave her the idea for her latest single.
“It does stem from my relationship, and unfortunately it was a disagreement between me and my partner, Them.
“Which is great, I mean, a song came out of it,” she joked.
“This disagreement started on a Saturday night and then it trailed all the way through to Sunday. It was pretty shitty,” she said, before reassuring that despite the disagreement her relationship was still better than ever.
Last year, Jessica sparked rumours of an engagement after she was spotted with a huge sparkler on her finger at Eurovision.
However, when asked by Fitzy and Wippa if Them had got down on one knee yet the Aussie beauty confirmed: “not yet.”
Last May the songstress revealed to WHO that she definitely sees a long future with Them, who she has been dating for 10 years.
“All I know is that the love is great. The connection is great,” she said.
“We’re so in tune that I know that we’ll be married one day. I know that we’ll have kids one day.”
