The award winning artist announced the tour on Tuesday morning with a promo video on his Instagram.

“The outdoors is the inspiration for a lot of these songs. That’s the main idea,” Timberlake says in the trailer. “The tour will be able to bring the outside in. How can we bring that to life?”

So far the tour dates are only for North America, so Australian fans will have to stay tuned to see whether Timberlake will make his way down under.

The 36-year-old last performed in Australia in 2014 as part of his 20/20 Experience World Tour.

The tour, which is named after his latest album out in February, comes just days after the release of his new single ‘Filthy’.
