There’s nothing worse than running into you ex on a night out, especially when said night out is one of the most prestigious events in the Australian TV calendar.
But Karl Stefanovic can breathe a sigh of relief, as it turns out his former wife of 21-years, Cassandra Thorburn will not be attending the Logie Awards on Sunday night.

Speaking to Sydney Confidential about the rumours she was set to attend as a guest of Network Ten following her stint on Dancing With The Stars and her current gig with Studio 10, Cassandra confirmed she definitely won’t be making an appearance at the award show.
“You’re hilarious,” the 48-year-old responded.
“I’m not network talent just a regular panellist on studio 10. I used to go because gold Logie winners get two tickets for life.”
Karl, 44 previously won the coveted Gold Logie in 2011 and the axed Today show host is said to have been “concerned” that he may face an awkward encounter with Cass – with whom he shares three children, River, Ava and Jackson – as he is set to once again attend the awards ahead of his return to Nine as host of This Time Next Year.
However, Karl’s new wife Jasmine Yarbrough won’t be in attendance at the Gold Coast-based awards due to commitments with her shoe brand Mara & Mine at Paris Fashion Week.
