According to a new report, the Duchess of Cambridge has never invited her brother and sister-in-law to celebrate her birthday.

Last year as Kate turned 37, the Duchess had two royal celebrations – but Meghan and Harry were not invited to either, according to The Express.

Kate and William instead invited long-time friends – and godparents to Prince George and Prince Louis – Laura Meade and Emilia Jardine Patterson to Anmer Hall, their Norfolk home, to celebrate the occasion the weekend prior to the big day.

The publication states that the royal couple then had a small family gathering with their children at Kensington Palace.

This year, Meghan and Harry were yet again not present at Kate’s weekend celebrations. However the pair are still believed to be on their extended break in Canada with their son, Archie.

Last year, Harry admitted that he and William have drifted apart over the last couple of years.

“We’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I will always be there for him and as I know he’ll always be there for me,” he told reporter Tom Bradby.

“We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy but I love him dearly.”
