They’ve been married since 2014 and share four children but numerous sources have revealed that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are over.
According to a report by Page Six, multiple sources say “divorce is imminent” and that Kim has hired celebrity divorce attorney, Laura Wasser and is in settlement talks.
“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” a source spilled.
The report also says that Kim, 40, spent Christmas with her family and hasn’t been spotted wearing her wedding ring whilst her rapper husband, 43, spent the festive season at his $14 million ranch in Wyoming.
“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” the source added.
“Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot. She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”
Another source told Page Six that Kanye “is completely over the entire family” and “wants nothing to do with them.”
Back in July, Kanye, who has bipolar disorder, tweeted that he’d been trying to get a divorce.
“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for ‘prison reform,’” he wrote on the social media site, seemingly referring to a criminal justice summit attended by his wife and rapper Meek Mill in November 2018.
Kanye was last featured on Kim’s social media when she celebrated the 10th anniversary of his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album in November.
“For those that don’t know the story behind Lost In The World…Kanye couldn’t come up with some of the lyrics but then realized he had them in a poem he had written me that was my birthday card he gave me for my 30th birthday. He took the poem he wrote me and made it the song. I keep everything!” she revealed to her 198 million Instagram followers.
Kim and Kanye tied the knot in May 2014 at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
Along with friends and family, the couple also threw a special reception at the Chateau de Wideville (designer Valentino Garavani’s Paris home) in France the week prior, followed by a private guided tour of the famed grounds of Versailles and a lavish pre-wedding dinner at the Palace of Versailles.
The celebrity couple share four children – North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, two and Psalm, one.
