British aristocrat, model and popular TV star Annabelle Neilson has passed away at age 49.
WHO’s sister publication, PEOPLE confirmed that the Ladies of London star had died, but reported that the details of her death are not available at this stage.
Before she hit fame as a reality TV star, Neilson worked as a model and formed close friendships with supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, as well as the late fashion great Alexander McQueen — whose 2010 suicide left her devastated.
“He was my brother, my boyfriend, my soulmate. Most of the time people called me Mrs McQueen. Quite often we were sharing a bed,” Neilson, who was the last person to see the designer alive, revealed to the Daily Mail in 2015.
“The truth is I was happier with Lee than with anyone else. He asked me to marry him towards the end and I said no. I wish now that I had said yes,” she added.
Tributes have since been shared on social media in memory of the star.
Sending love to her family, friends and fans during this tough time.
