Speculation has been rife that The Bachelor star Locky Gilbert has already popped the question to his girlfriend Irena Srbinovska since, well… the moment the finale first aired. But the couple has consistently claimed they’re not yet ready to take that next step … until now, that is.

Over the weekend, Irena, 31, hinted that her adventure tour guide beau may soon be bending the knee.
Regramming a silly selfie the pair previously took with a quokka she wrote: “So Locky and I are off to Rottnest Island tomorrow.”
“Last time we were there, we sparked engagement rumours but Locky has just told me that tomorrow will be a day that I will never forget. What has he got planned?”
The cryptic post was a nod to the lovebirds’ romantic getaway back in November, where they snapped the cute pic.
“When on Rotto, one must get a quokka selfie #quokkaselfie,” Locky captioned it, prompting Rottnest Island Tourism to comment:
“Congratulations on your engagement! That’s one ‘Locky’ quokka.
The nurse only added fuel to the fire when she posted a picture of them enjoying sweeping ocean views passionately locking lips.
“One very lucky girl 🥰 @locklangilbert #rottnestisland ☀️”
At the time, many of her 115k followers flooded the post with their well-wishes.
“So happy for you 💕” one weighed in. “One extremely lucky Locky,” another added.
“You are beautiful together, and blessed to find each other. So enjoying your beautiful love story ❤️❤️”
However, Locky later shut down the engagement rumours, responding: “We are not,” when asked by a fan if it was true.
Since moving to Perth, the loved-up pair have been inseparable with Locky recently admitting they’ve been together “every single day.”
“I don’t think we’ve spent one day away from each other,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and I’m pretty sure Irena is just as happy.”
In an exclusive interview with WHO, the reality TV star gushed about his girlfriend, saying that he believes she is his “soulmate.” He also shared that he has something special in mind when that time does come.
“When it does happen I’m sure I will do something crazy to pop the question,” he said.
Meanwhile, Irena is equally as smitten.
“I still remember how nervous I was stepping out of the limo to meet the Bachelor for the first time but all my nerves instantly faded the moment he held my hands,” Irena captioned a recent IG post.
“I have walked away from this experience with the man of my dreams and also the most incredible friendships.”
She added: “I am so grateful to have taken that leap of faith and followed my heart.”
