Now that they’re out of hotel quarantine, Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska are free to explore Western Australia and all its natural beauty. But after a certain quokka selfie, Bachie alum and Perth newbie Alisha Aitken-Radburn has expressed a hint of jealousy towards this year’s Bachelor sweethearts.
Following a trip to Rottnest Island, Perth local Locky and his new girlfriend marked the visit with a selfie featuring an adorable quokka – a small marsupial native to Rottnest Island.
And to say they got the shot is something of an understatement.
Fans and followers congratulated the 31-year-old travel guide on his “perfect” photo, but Bachelor in Paradise star Alisha, 28, who moved to Perth this year to be with her boyfriend Glenn Smith, could not relate.
“Wow my quokka photo did not look like this,” she jokingly commented.

Taking to her own Instagram Stories, Alisha compared Locky’s quokka selfies to her own, not-so picture perfect attempts.
The Bachelor in Paradise star re-shared Locky’s photo with the caption “Expectation,” followed by three of her own snaps of the quokka running away with the caption “Reality”.
In the first photo, the top of Alisha’s head can just be made out but by her third, the blonde beauty simply wrote: “Better luck next time.”

In a previous chat with Who, Alisha said she was “so excited” for Locky and Irena’s next chapter in Perth and admired them for how they handled their romance following the intensity of the show.
“They [Locky and Irena] seem to be really investing in their relationship and I’m really happy for Irena to get over to Perth because I need some more mates!” she said.
No doubt Locky and Irena and Alisha and Glenn have locked in a double date for the near future.

Locky and Irena, meanwhile, have been all loved-up as they explore WA together.
Not only has Irena met her “future mother-in-law” but she and Locky have been enjoying the great outdoors together and it seems she loves her “new home.”
Captioning a photo of herself and Locky on Rottnest Island sharing a kiss, Irena penned: “One very lucky girl 🥰 @locklangilbert #rottnestisland ☀️”
