The part-time model and plasterer Adam Farrugia never expected to land a spot on one of the country’s biggest dating shows – Love Island Australia, but it seems he didn’t really need the extra attention.

“I have men and women sliding into my DMs all the time,” he tells WHO.
The 27-year-old expects he will also be popular in Love Island Australia.
“I reckon I’m going to be the funny guy; I’m going to be the easygoing guy that can get along with everyone,” he says.
One person he will be able to rely on for support back at home is former Married At First Sight star Daniel Webb.
“He’s one of my good mates,” Adam explains.
Asked about his thoughts on Dan’s ex-girlfriend Jessika Power, Adam doesn’t hold back: “Jessika is putrid.”
The Gold Coast native goes on to explain he struck up a relationship with Dan during his younger years playing rugby league.
“That bloke is resilient,” Adam says.
“Seriously you can paint a picture of someone without even meeting them. By reading all this s–t [about Dan] you’d think, ‘This guy’s a flop,’ but you don’t actually know Dan. He’s one of those boys who has always got your back.”
