She’s currently gracing our screens on the current season of Love Island Australia, but it turns out, this isn’t Cassie Lansdell’s first shot at reality TV.
Newly unearthed footage has emerged of a then 20-year-old Cassie auditioning for X Factor UK in 2013 – and she looks very different

In the rediscovered footage, Cassies and friend Katrina form the singing duo Duplex and perform in front of judges Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Gary Barlow.
However, despite the duo’s best attempt to impress the judges with their rapping and singing, their attempts fell flat and they were dismissed from the audition.
“You both can’t sing,” said Gary Barlow at the end of their performance. “Really awful singing. . .woeful,” he concluded.
‘It’s probably just the nerves,’ Cassie’s singing partner replied, but Gary wasn’t convinced.
‘No, no it’s not the nerves you just really can’t sing,’ he said.
And it turns out, Cassie has made several attempts to break into the world of reality TV.
As well as her failed X Factor audition and current stint on Love Island, the British star has appeared as an extra in Made in Chelsea and even auditioned for a previous season of The Bachelor.
